Scholarship is available to students aspiring to study bachelor’s, master’s or PhD on HBKU scholarship 2026 offered by Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
Scholarship offers complete tuition fee wavier or partial tuition fee wavier along with monthly stipend directly paid to student. Student with fee wavier, can also get monthly stipend depending upon merit and course in which they are enrolled.

Financial Coverage:
Scholarships at Hamad Bin Khalifa University for international students are fully funded scholarships. You will receive funds as soon as you are admitted to one of above programs.
PhD Scholarship:
Monthly Stipend: QAR 7,500
Accommodation: provided by university
Airfare: Return ticket once in year
Master’s Scholarship:
Monthly Stipend: QAR 5,000
Accommodation: provided by university
Airfare: Return ticket once in year
Eligibility Criteria:
- To be eligible for this scholarship student should be admitted and enrolled in one of program at HBKU, moreover student should have merit above lowest admission requirements.
- Scholarships are awarded according to the length of program, for example for bachelor’s four years, for MS two years, for PhD four years and for JD three years.
- Scholarships are renewed annually and to continue student must meet minimum academic criteria set by the scholarship committee.
- Scholarship contract conditions for example, number of credit per semester must be fulfilled.
- Student is eligible for one scholarship at a time.
- Student who did not adhere to scholarship contract policy, his scholarship will be revoked and penalty will be imposed.
Application Process:
Student must apply for admission at admission portal with all supporting documents.

- GRE, GMAT, MCAT, ACT/SAT depending upon course

After submitting application for admission the student must complete the Scholarship Application Form. After the application is submitted relevant scholarship/studentship committees will examine each application and will forward selected candidate to Dean for approval.
