University of Ottawa offers multiple Scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD studies. Student from all over the world are eligible to apply for these scholarships, Moreover university also offers funding and financing for Microprograms, Graduate diplomas (GD) and short duration master’s program.
Undergraduate Scholarship:
University of Ottawa offers two types of scholarships for newly admitted undergraduate students studying English-taught programs
- International English Admission Scholarship
- International English Academic Scholarship
International English Admission Scholarship:
This Scholarship is unlimited. All eligible students will get this scholarship automatically after getting admission and will be notified at the time of admission. A total award of $60,000 will be granted $7,500 per term over the course of four-year degree and will be renewable every 12 months with specific conditions.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must
- be an international student.
- be admitted bachelor’s study in Faculty of Arts, Engineering, Health sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences or Telfer School of Management starting in 2026.
- be full-time enrolled with minimum average admission of 80%.
Condition to renew scholarship
Scholarship can be renewed up to 12 installments if student maintain Full-time enrolled status at university in undergraduate program in one of following faculties; Arts, Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management.
International English Academic Excellence Scholarship:
This scholarship is awarded to 100 student and value of this scholarship is $10,000 ($5,000 per term). This is one time scholarship and cannot be renewed, however it can be combined with International English Admission Scholarship.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must
- be an international student.
- be admitted bachelor’s study in Faculty of Arts, Engineering, Health sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences or Telfer School of Management starting in 2026.
- be full-time enrolled with minimum average admission of 90%.
Master’s and graduate diploma programs:
This is partial scholarship that will reduce tuition fee, for example if you enrolled in faculty of science and your tuition fee is $8,490 for Fall term, you will receive a scholarship of $5,500. This means you have to pay $2,990 in tuition fees.
